This sailing brings together two wildlife experiences in the Strait of Magellan. On Isla Magdalena, you land to walk through the penguin colony along the marked trail. At Isla Marta, you watch sea lions from the boat.
What the experience involves
Solo Expediciones operates the trip. We manage your booking and check availability with the maritime operator. Before travelling, you receive instructions for check-in and the transfer to the pier.
Before you travel
The boat operates from October to March, subject to sea conditions. Weather may affect the approach to Marta. Bring a windproof jacket, warm layers and closed shoes for the sailing and the walk on Magdalena.
Do we land on both islands?
No. You land on Isla Magdalena. Isla Marta is viewed from the water, and the approach depends on weather.
If weather causes a cancellation
If weather prevents approaching Marta Island, the operator treats it as an additional stop and does not provide a refund for that portion of the trip.
How the booking is confirmed
