A few kilometres from the city, Magallanes National Reserve takes you from urban surroundings into forest. The walk follows paths among native trees and areas with views towards Punta Arenas and the strait when visibility allows.
What the experience involves
This is a half-day excursion, normally from 09:00 to 14:00, with accommodation pickup and a guide. It can fit into a short stay or complement other trips in the region.
Before you travel
Reserve admission, meals and water are not included. Bring warm layers and footwear suitable for wet ground. Snow can cause winter closures, so we check access and trails before confirming.
